Wrinkles. How to Prevent Them, How to Treat Wrinkles

Wrinkles, feared and inevitable. Yet wrinkles can be 'prevented', and when they cannot be avoided, every effort can be made to delay their appearance. We asked Rossella Galvani, Olaz's Skin expert to explain how wrinkles are prevented, and how to treat the skin when wrinkles are already there. Here are his tips.

How to prevent the formation of wrinkles and expression lines?

First of all try to keep the skin smooth and silky, be very careful that it is well hydrated because hydration is very important to keep a face without marks for as long as possible, try to take as little sun as possible or always well protected.

It is normal that there are signs of expression and even small fine lines but taking care of your skin in a healthy and effective way will not manifest themselves as evident wrinkles; it is also important to remember that water fills our tissues so the more hydration there is, the more relaxed our skin appears.

How to try to recover once wrinkles have formed? Is it possible, and what should be done?

One of the reasons why wrinkles are highlighted is the increase in the stratum corneum and for this reason it is very important to do weekly peels which, in addition to slightly decreasing the stratum corneum, oxygenates the tissues in order to improve their complexion. Furthermore, when applying moisturizing or anti-aging creams, it is possible to massage precisely where there are the most evident signs, i.e. in the area of the wrinkle, nose, lip, eye contour and lip contour.

Finally, another advice would be to use products that are rich in water or that keep liquids in the tissues for a long time.
